Leah’s Link Loves and a few London and Paris pictures

Eiffel Tower

I’m back after a week in Paris and London!!  It was such an amazing trip and I’ll be sharing some of my favorite pictures from both cities this week, as well as some highlights from what we saw, ate and loved. I am planning to do one Paris post and one London post, so I can adequately cover what we did but also keep it relatively short and sweet.  In the meantime, enjoy a few “teaser” pictures.

Also, I’ve been catching up on all of my favorite reads the last day or so, and here are some things that I missed that I thought you all would love.  Hopefully these lovely links will help you ease into the beginning of this week 🙂

I love the idea of roasting these jerk chicken kabobs in the oven!

Check out this incredible honey drizzle. . .these baked goat cheese cigars with honey and thyme may be my next party appetizer.

Knowing how much sugar is in normal barbecue sauce, I would love to try this homemade version.

Balsamic roasted strawberry margaritas sound incredibly refreshing.

Get me to a campfire immediately.

A great piece from Chef Hugh Acheson on eating on the road.  (thank you, Annie for sharing!! :))

Roasted beets and burrata with micro greens ~ wanting to try this.

I’m in love with this mostly veggie baked macaroni and cheese.

If you love olives like me, you will appreciate this lovely little video.

Apparently National Donut Day took place while I was away ~ and there were tons of swoon-worthy recipes and photos that filled my twitter, instagram and bloglovin feeds.  Here are just a few of my favorites in case you were unaware of this joyous national celebration:

OMG…a waffled donut recipe to drool over.

Blackberry jam and custard donuts. . .yum!

Classic buttermilk baked donuts with chocolate and vanilla glaze. . .a donut baking pan is in my future.

Biscuit donuts with naturally colored glazes. . these pictures are perfect and lovely.

Oh and you’ll be happy to know that Cronuts have found their way across the pond. Just take a look at these babies that I spotted while wandering the incredible food halls at Harrods. More to come later this week!
