On the hunt for a new appetizer to throw in the mix for your holiday parties? This horseradish hummus is the perfect thing to balance out all the heavier dips and treats that may already be on your menu.
One of the staples in our refrigerator has become Trader Joe’s horseradish hummus. Even my husband, who generally is hummus averse, has taken a liking to the horseradish version. In preparation for all of the holiday festivities, I created a homemade version of one of our favorite snacks. It has just a little kick to it, but with all the familiarity of that classic hummus flavor that we all know and love.
You can find my horseradish hummus recipe here on Food52. I adapted this recipe from Eat, Live, Run’s incredibly good basic hummus recipe, which I also recommend if you just want straight up, really good, basic hummus.
Zip this up in the food processor the day before you have guests coming and you won’t even have to think about it!
I also have my eye on these recipes:
Lamb meatballs sound delicious and different.
Tiny roquefort popovers…..yum. I love anything mini.
Warm herb and goat cheese spread….these pictures are amazing.
