Fall Boots

Short boots, tall boots, ankle boots, cowboy boots, flat boots, mid-calf boots, over-the-knee boots, leather boots, suede boots…doesn’t it seem like you never have the “right” boot? The good news is, it appears that every kind of boot is “in” this season, so you really can’t go wrong. Just go for what you love.

Tall, Flat Boot

If I had to pick one new boot to buy this fall, it would be this Tory Burch boot that I’ve been eyeing for quite some time. A tall, flat, leather boot is perfect for so many situations ~ with skinny jeans, with tights and a skirt or a dress, and it transitions well from day to night. This boot also doesn’t have a huge logo on it, which I like as well.Tory Burch Boots

Frye has a ton of good options for a more casual look. Here’s the Paige Tall Leather Riding Boot in Brown:

Ankle Boot

If you are in the market for an ankle boot or bootie, this Rag and Bone Classic Newbury boot is super soft and comfortable.  It comes in different colors – I like the gray canvas because it is so versatile.  Check out Reese Witherspoon rocking them here. Here’s the suede version:

Over the Knee Boot (Practicality of these boots = questionable, but still fun to look at)

Here’s a flat version by Stuart Weitzman:

Here’s the high-heeled version worn by Olivia Palermo ~ super chic:

While we’re dreaming, let’s just go there shall we?

Yep, couldn’t help it.  We all know what those red soles mean.

These still are not cheap by any means, but definitely a more wallet friendly option by Michael Kors:

These are just a few of my favorites so far this season. We have many boot wearing days ahead and I’ll be on the lookout for pretty and more affordable options. What boots do you have your eye on?
