Proenza Schouler Scarf

I’m kind of lusting over this scarf right now. . . . but it would be a totally frivolous purchase.  Actually I love everything from this pop-up collection in honor of the Proenza Schouler Exhibit at Le Bon Marche for Paris Fashion Week. For example, this tote pretty much rocks my world. SO impractical, but the coolest thing ever. Maybe you can put it on your mantel like its a work of art?

Hope you all have had a fabulous week. Happy Friday! Here are some links I’ve been loving this week:

Chelsea Handler is AWESOME. . . can’t wait to see her at the Fox in a few short weeks!

Whole Wheat Blueberry Yogurt Crumb Muffins. . . that crumbly top is perfect!  Can I get a lesson?

35 Orangest Men Ever to Grace a Red Carpet ~ funny!

Love this healthier broccoli cheese soup recipe ~ those cheese crisps!!

Healthy slow cooked chicken tikka masala.

Do you believe that the girls didn’t drink that much on the Bachelor?  Read this interview with Chris Harrison.

Had some amazing roasted cauliflower at a new restaurant this week ~ so this might be on the menu soon!

Homemade beignets for Mardi Gras.

Healthy green goddess dressing. . . .yes!!

This grapefruit yogurt cake looks so light and refreshing!

If you are a fan of TED Talks, this upcoming webcast looks very interesting.

Crispy quinoa sweet potato tacos ~ so creative. . . I never would have thought of that combo.

How to work out if you only have a few minutes.

And now to my theme of the week, the Oscars.  Here is a summary of the Best Picture nominees.  I confess, I haven’t seen all of the movies that are nominated, and I usually try to.  Out of the ones that I have seen, I’m thinking that Matthew McConaughey has a good shot at Best Actor for his role in “Dallas Buyers Club”.  I also think that Cate Blanchett’s performance in Blue Jasmine was spectacular.  Here is a great interview with Blanchett on 60 Minutes.  The fact that I watch 60 Minutes makes me feel old, especially when the commercials are for things like Viagra, but I digress. . . I still want to see “Nebraska” and “12 Years A Slave”.  “Her” just seems like it would be so out there ~ I’m not sure I would like it or maybe it is just over my head!

Do you have any Oscar predictions?  Would you recommend any of the nominees?  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
